The Why and How of Working with Communities through Collective Impact: An E-Course

Mar. 17, 2015 - Apr. 21, 2015

This new, free e-course will help collective impact initiatives better understand why and how to work with community members.

The recent surge of interest and resources around collective impact principles has highlighted an important concern and challenge for many practitioners: Where does the community fit in? Living Cities has constructed an e-learning course to equip those involved in collective impact initiatives with tools for including and working with community members.

The free e-course will walk participants through five modules to help collective impact initiatives better understand why and how to work with community members. Each module includes resources, discussion questions and interactive exercises that will be released on LivingCities.org. While the course can be taken as an individual, it is recommended that participants discuss the modules in a group, with other members of their collective impact initiative.

The course will launch on March 17th, with a new module released each week. To take the course, sign-up online now.

This course is free and open to all–there is no limit on the number of people who can register.
